Pliscian Winter

The Pliscian Winter was a decades-long magical storm that began with the destruction of the Pliscian Civilization and marked the beginning of a new era of the world.
It is unknown what exactly caused the destruction of the Pliscians, but it is clear that its origin was in what is now the Pliscian Wastes. Fierce winds and raging snowstorms blanketed the world. Humans, gnomes, and halflings hid in outlying settlements as the cities of the Pliscians fell. Dwarves retreated underground to their ancestral home. It is estimated that approximately 75% of all life was destroyed during this thirty-year period.
