Metrovo
Metrovo is the capital of Barisea, and the nation's largest city. In 1358 BE, Barisean citizens gathered in the city to form a constitutional republic. From here, the Barisean Senate ruled the ancient Barisean nation, which stretched south to the modern-day Talc Desert and as far west as the Marlinet Mountains.
The city is well known for its mix of ancient and modern architecture. Ancient buildings have been maintained with magic, while newer construction has appeared within and around old city districts.
Metrovo currently serves as the headquarters of the Triumvirate, the trio of military generals who assumed control of the nation after the Senate Rotunda was destroyed by an earthquake and a large number of Senators killed in the event.
