A small invasive species that dwells exclusively in the Whisperforest. Nobody knows when and where from they appeared but they have called the forest their home for many decades now. 
ability score increase: +2 Dex, +1 Con
age: Whisperlings age faster then humans and reach adulthood with 15 and normally live up to around 50.

  • Whisper Voice. You can mimic any sound you have heard, including voices. A creature that hears the sound you make can tell it is an imitation with a successful Wisdom (Insight) check opposed by your Charisma (Deception) check. You can also communicate with other whisperlings within 30 feet of you using a secret language of sounds only they can understand.
  • Forest Dweller. You have proficiency in the Stealth and Survival skills. You also have advantage on saving throws against being frightened.
  • Innate Magic. You know the minor illusion cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the silent image spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the fear spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Whisperlings small and slender, pale skin and hair that ranges from white to silver. They have pointed ears and large almost bug like eyes that glow in the dark. They wear clothes made from animal skins and leaves and often adorn themselves with feather and beads.

Whisperlings are nomadic and secretive, living in small tribes that move from one part of the forest to another. They are adept at stealth and camouflage using sounds and shadows of the forest to their advantage wary of outsiders and often attack with traps and ambushes.
They have enhanced senses of hearing and sight, especially in the dark. Can produce a range of sounds with their mouths from animal calls and eerie whispers. They use these sounds to communicate with each other and to confuse/frighten their enemies. they are skilled using slings, bows and daggers as weapons. They have some low innate magical capabilities.
