Lords of Sol

The Lords of Sol were an Order of Paladins, Clerics and Priest before and during the War of Gods wich served Pelor the god of the Sun and Summer.
Pelorian paladins are rare these days, having appeared in large numbers only since the Aeon of Gods. Pelor's paladins see themselves as the burning light of the sun which scours away darkness and evil and brings strength and comfort to the innocent. Pelorian paladins believe that laws are helpful, but that they are at best a secondary goal and must be tempered with mercy.
They mostly wear black robes with a golden sun on their chest and/or armor.
The most notable Paladin of the Order was Corvi Sunblade, she traveled with Pelor through Essairoth trying to reverse the events that lead to the War of Gods. After their success she became the Orders Knight Commander wich position she held until her untimely demise by the hand of the Balor Errtu, in the battle at Blighthill. The location of her grave was kept a secret to keep it save from being defiled by any of her numerous enemies.
Most of the Order was killed at Blighthill and they never managed to recover from that blow, even becoming insignificant over the years
