Whiterapid Run

History:

A favorite among the local kids and teens. As the fastest river in the region kids can frequently be found racing down the river in barrels (despite numerous posted warnings). While the river is used for leisure, it is not exclusively for leisure. Twice a year in the spring and fall the river is used for shipping to Vexguard another town along a major trade route.  Nearly every business in town produces excess for the seasonal runs.
Whiterapid Run flows at an average speed of around 9 miles per hour. However, the river's speed can increase to around 12 miles per hour during high rainfall, making it exceedingly treacherous to cross. One bridge has been erected and steep tolls make the prospect to taking The Run all the was to Vexguard a temping prospect.
