The Temple of the Last Hearth

The Last Hearth sits at the point farthest north in Viggrom. It is considered to be the last refuge of Vulcanites prior to the Northern Pilgrimages. The northern pilgrimage is a rite of passage undertaken when a Vulcanite any time after their 100th birthday. Frequently referred to as the "Old-Hearth" it is said to have been built into the side of a now dormant volcano.
Positioned 2,195 feet above sea level, the Hearth is quite a hike but also quite worth the journey. As the last refuge before the north becomes "wild" they carry plenty of supplies that are regularly donated to adventurers in need. The hearth itself emits a warm glow from the latent volcanic activity.

The Apostle Queen:

Residing on the Thorne of the Enkindled Kromatela Pyresworth. While traditionally seats of power are vied for competitively, the Throne of the Enkindled went nearly 80 years without a proper ruler. Due to the dwindling population of Viggrom, filling this seat to rule over a frozen kingdom was difficult to say the least. That is until Kromatela.
Having led 7 excursions in search of the first hearth, Kromatela was a natural fit for the Throne of the Enkindled and as a native Viggran, who grew up watching a leaderless city slowly shrink in size and influence, when she took the throne, she did so with the intention of making Viggrom a legitimate destination in the north. Using her family's wealth she opened the Museum Arcana Nova and subsidized the Bountiful Hills Farm and Granary. These actions had a two-fold effect, the first was that it freed Viggrom from reliance on the south for grain and potatoes, and the second was consistent revenue from mages seeking to acquire or study the artifacts within the museum.
