The Basement

History

The club within the club, known as the basement, plays host to another of the Minor Tournaments within the T.E.C.S..  Known for its genuinely ruckus crowd the Kneecracker seems to draw in some of the best hand-to-hand fighters from around the Dwarvish lands. Most fighters are familiar with the bard's song "Looking for a fight."
The basement is one of the larger arenas in the T.E.C.S., and while most fights devolve into a pure slugfest the ability to fire one's ranged weapon with precision and accuracy is without its benefits as the sprawling arena provides plenty of places to ambush one's opponent.

Rules of Engagement

The Basement isn't for the faint of heart, as the organizers consider most weapons unsporting,  leaving combatants with only the options of hand crossbows, slings, and darts (in addition to their fisticuffs). While available ranged weapons are provided to combatants there are no rules about bringing personal ranged weapons for this particular event.
