The Angari spice House
History & Lore:
Despite its status as a tourist trap, many local residents are well aware of the reputation of the Angari Spice House. Stocked mostly from the salt mines of Maphis (a mining community just north of Alttanes), and the saffron fields of Itadale (a farming community just south of Evolir), the spice house has locked in exclusive trade routes that are some of the most protected in Espen. While their operation is small, it is also secured by the Blackguard Orc Security Company (BOSC). The imposing military prowess of the BOSC has made the Angari Spice House nothing more than a front for the smuggling of goods and individuals to and through the cities in which they ship their goods. Despite the Spice House's long and storied history of providing the best chefs and taverns with fresh spices, recently their increased prices and intimidation tactics have left many of their customers seeking other options for their goods.Ownership:
Yanish Angari is a third-generation High Elf whose family handed him the keys to the Angari Spice House. However, his passions were far more based in high society galas and events than the management of the business that bore his family name. This was quickly resolved when he signed over a large share of the business to Sulgha Durz, an Orc lieutenant in BOSC. Yanish made a deal to keep 51% of the business and profits in exchange he would not dig into the dealings of his family's business or BOSC.Available Items:
