Stygian Ale Hall and Inn

History & Lore:

As potable water in Blackpool is incredibly limited the ale hall has to import almost all of its beer and wine.  Driving the price up and the quality down.  For this reason the most sold item in the Ale Hall is a day's supply of water. Stygian Sable's proprietary filtration system is generates exactly 109 gallons of freshwater a day. Nearly everyday they sell out and in the summer when the water table is at its lowest the price can nearly quadrouple.   The Inn has high rates but each room comes with a 2 days suppy of water and a ration.  Also behind the Inn grounds is a geothermic pool that helps revitalize weary travellers, access is avialable for 3 GP.

Ownership:

Owned and operated by Stygian Sable who is a newer resident of the city. He moved to Blackpool as a favor to his brother Kalaback Sable, the previous owner of Sable's Inn and Supply. He purchased the inn from his brother, who was not known for business saavy. The change in ownership signaled the shift to a focus on water as a commodity and set the inn up as a profitable venture.  Currently, Kalaback works the front of house taking reservations and Stygian man the bar.
