Snowdrift Inn

History:

Rumored to have been built on a graveyard and frequently visited by spirits, the Snowdrift Inn leans into the mythos of the town. Taking the image of the Barbed Yeti as its sigil the inn harkens back to a time when the north was filled with such myth a superstition. In addition to talk of a fabled Barbed Yeti, a local soothsayer by the name of Amal Pike has made something of a business out of hosting séances and rituals at the Inn.  There is something of an unofficial agreement between her and the inn, she drums up business and in turn she can host her sessions in the basement of the Inn.  Both parties benefit as the Inn can run short on customers in the winter and Amal can run short on food, which the end graciously comps her.

Ownership:

Yinet Hardstout, the owner of the Inn, is frequently known around town as "doubting Yinet" for her fervent disbelief in the supernatural, superstitious, and occult. A retired researcher from the The Metallurgist Institute leans more toward the grounded sciences.  Her time at the Metallurgist Institute was largely spent debunking claims on the properties of Everore. Everore is far from a known substance, but she simpy would not tolerate wildly outlandish claims on its properties.
