Oruo Mountains

The Oruo Mountains separate the Shabazz Desert & The Broken Lands from the western half of central Espen. The Oruos are some of the oldest mountains in the world. The term Oruoian [O-ru-ee-an] is used to refer to different regions associated with the mountain range. Most broadly, it refers to the entire mountain range with its surrounding hills and the dissected plateau region.

Regions

The whole Oruoian System may be divided into three great sections: The Northern extends from Hatchetwinks. A section rich with Everore are make up the central region of the mountain chain usually referred to as the Arqina Region, for the small hillside Tabaxi mining town. The southern region borders the Orc Vein Trench, a 2-mile-wide estuary, and sheer rock formations leading to 500-foot drops make it one of the more dangerous areas in the mountain chain
