Muslin Farms

History:

The Muslin's married into the family business generation ago. Captain Muslin III had a small alpaca farm on the outskirts of town that was hardly profitable and eeked out a living each year. He became smitten with Donya Lockjaw, a Dwarven clothier. She had a reputation for fashioning sophisticated and fashionable military uniforms. But they needed a reliable source of fabric, a supplier the family could control from farm to shop. The Muslin provided just that.
Captain would have had the town believe that it was a marriage for love but it was clear to everyone the business took president. Many arranged marriages later the Muslins and the Lockjaws are still providing the area with fine uniforms.

Ownership:

Captain Muslin VI, is an exemplary farmer but far from a shrewd businessman. His wife Alia Lockjaw-Muslin, however, has been known for her fine negotiation skills and negotiating acumen. Traveling to major cities negotiating the best prices for their wares is her favorite part of the job, and Captain prefers the quiet of the farm. Just like generations before them, there is a marriage of commerce, not love.
