Mount Pawu

A massive mountain among the hills of the Uawu Mountains. The range had been long hidden by massive jungle overgrowth and was eventually charted by Pauw-Jin "PJ" Holdrick on the orders and the Elven Union. However, upon his completion of mapping the area, he was promptly (and handsomely) paid by the Union and escorted to the edge of Elven territory. While this was not completely unheard of there were a number of questions surrounding what the plans were for this area.   Around that same time, a number of dwarven crews began arriving from the Apostle Kings in the north. Though little information was available at the time, many suspected (and were correct in doing so) that a massive joint project was underway. That project proved to be the Pinnacle. Unbeknownst to PJ Holdrick, he had actually charted the ruins of an ancient city hidden among the jungle overgrowth.   The city had been searched for by the Immolates for over 600 years in Dwarven territory, with no idea that they had been searching in the wrong place.  The ruins were built into, and around what was believed to be the dormant volcano where Ingnis first appeared to a nomadic band of Dwarves. An accord was struck between the Elven Union and Dwarvish Kings to maintain the site within Elvish lands but to ensure the Dwarven people's beliefs would be respected. As such the location, that would become known as the Pinnacle was born.  Elvish excavation crews uncovered the ruins as Dwarven worker crews restored and enhanced the archaic structure to a temple worthy of their worship.   Today both Dwarves and Elves visit the holy site in devout worship.
