Two years ago Mortis Quietun have a dream, of getting out of the quarry, and opening his own shop. From that dream, Momento Mortis was born. They started off small, with small trinkets and baubles, but in no time their talent was known all over Espen. Eventually, they were able to sell many of these trinkets to a collector, a wealthy Human who backed his dream of opening their own shop. Orders came pouring in for bigger and bigger pieces. When a member of the Gnome Council died last year they commissioned a massive headstone to be shipped to his hometown, Vexguard. The turnout was tremendous and after the ceremony, orders have non-stop.

Ownership:

Artists from all over Espen flock to Fundament for the best materials. Mortis Quietus and his wife Mercy are master artisan sculptors. While they didn't study at any college to hone their skills, working together in the mines for 13 years they frequently would make small tokens of their appreciation for each other using the scraps of marble that were deemed not up to parchment street standard.
