Adorned with the pearlescent leaves of hte silk ivy plant that grows along the base of the structure, the Dispatch has seen a steady increase in engagement since its newest Editor-in-chief arrived.

Management

Editor-in-Chief Krux Scorn never wanted this post, and could readily be described as the world's most reluctant journalist. A wanderer by his obstinant nature, Krux spent most of his formative years in the lands between cities. Enjoying quiet countrysides and trailblazing through dense jungles. He made a relatively decent living as a guide in elvish lands, navigating dangerous trade routes and quietly escorting dignitaries and VIP's through hostile lands. Overall he was quite accomplished but found himself mired in a rather tricky diplomatic situation.   The last convoy he led ran into a substantial amount of trouble as one of their party, in a foolhardy attempt to arrive at their destination more expeditiously a member of the convoy broke off. Eventually ending up off course that particular traveler found himself deep into drow elf territory. As is expected, violence ensued. Of the 3 wagons that broke away only one made it back to the convoy with a small legion of Drow Elves in pursuit.   Krux made the decision to send the convoy ahead towards Ossirion at top speed while being brought up the rear, holding off the Drow Elf forces single-handedly giving the convoy enough time to arrive relatively safely at Ossirion. As a regular tradesman and guide, and personal consult to the Ashen Elders, when Krux arrived at the gates Ossirion, the guards had no reason to suspect any foul play and allowed him to pass. 20 minutes later when combat weary Drow Elf Legion arrived at the gates demanding Krux be delivered to them to answer for the number of troops he injured in their retreat their request was unceremoniously denied.   Since that day, drow elves have kept a close eye on the gates of Ossirion, awaiting the moment when Krux steps one foot outside the city. Consequently, that day was Krux's last as a wanderer. Now a permanent resident of Ossirion, Krux uses his vast knowledge of human and elvish lands to provide articles in the Disptach about profitable trade routes, travel times, vacation spots, and hidden gems in Espen. His most recent article: Three Small Hamlets with Big City Appeal led to an increase in local tourism of nearly 270%.
