Slevin Kuro, a tradesmsan from Everhold City fell in love with Nattan Mal. Originally traveling north as a part of a trade caravan bringing saffron and Alta Flowers to the northern climes after unloading his wares on Bar-Bar's Bridge found himself inexplicably drawn to the people, the city, and all of its more subtle nuances.
Initially, there was some pushback about his presence and even more still about his ownership of property in goblin territory.  His ability to befriend most people he encountered, mixed with delightful wit, and above all else, his desire to upgrade the eyesore that was the old Qualsmith Warehouse won over most of the goblin population.  Though there are a few who still bare him ill will, most Goblins have come to see him more as their "pet human," much like a stray dog who was fed once and now comes back every day.

History & Lore

With most of his wares gone, Slevin used what little gold he had left to purchase an abandoned shop on the outskirts of of the West end. Unsure what he would do with the space he was amazed to discover that the warehouse he'd purchased still had an uncurated collection of antiques, furniture, weapons, and miscellaneous items. It turned out the warehouse used to belong to a rather Jack Quailsmith, an eclectic socialite who became a hoarding recluse before he passed. As no one wanted the responsibility of disposing of or sorting the more than 5,000 items in the warehouse, it was simply boarded up and left abandoned for decades.
Slevin quickly set to work cataloging and organizing the space and two years later he relaunched the warehouse as the Jack of All Trades.
