Gobbleblights Butchers and Charcuterie

History & Lore:

The premiere attraction of Blightwood Village is Gobbleblights Butchers and Charcuterie. Having opened their doors as a refuge for hungry goblins during the Drought Majore, Gobbleblights quickly became the hope of a city. Their skill in hunting brought more enough food for their village and eventually became their primary export.
The quality cured meats were a sensation in the region both establishments in Mithrigal and Nin consistently placing multiple cartloads of their wares each month. Their success is largely due to the Red Salt that the meat is seasoned with, giving it both a smokey and herbal taste while adding a bit of spice. Though the exact aging and curing processes are unknown and kept as a trade secret within the family, their favored hunting grounds just north of Nattan Mal known as the Onyx Isles, a small archipelago linked together by large veins of Onyx.
The game on this island is notoriously hard to track, hunt, and kill. Most who manage to make their way to the isle quickly find themselves in unfamiliar territory and many end up becoming the hunted instead of the hunters. The most abundant game on the island is black boar, Gobbleblights has made a name for themselves by making this exotic and dangerous animal their signature item.

Management:

Louvious Gobbleblight runs day-to-day operations with his sister, Sarin Gobbleblight being CoE (Chief of Expeditions) and in charge of planning, organizing, and tracking each of the 14 hunting parties on an expedition at any given time.  Overall the operations run smoothly, although, with Louvious nearing retirement, Sarin's duties have been steadily increasing.  And with a stellar track record of more than 4 years without a missing hunting party, most of the employees see her as the heir apparent when Louvious retires.
