Flame of Creation

Lore:

Long ago, when Espen was new and in darkness the Dwarves of the ancient town of Norreach were forced from their ancestral home by a massive flood, mired in the endless reach of the forests they believed all was lost.  Until the night their leader fell before his people and begged Ignis for protection. 
Ignis, in his boundless mercy, opened up the earth, and from it rose a mountain the like of which had never been seen. The mountain provided them with everything they desired, warmth, protection, and even food.  They were tasked with but one thing.  Protection.  For at the heart of the mountain a flame, burning bright, blessing the Dwarvish people.
As legend has it, only the most revered honor guards and Apostle King or Queen even have access to this room, for should the flame go out, it is believed that the Dwarven kingdoms would fall.
To get a weapon that has been kissed by the Eternal Flame of Creation is considered the highest honor for a non-dwarf, whereas getting to entreat Ingnis via the Eternal Flame is the highest honor that can be bestowed to a Dwarf. This honor requires the full agreement of a city's Grand Vizars and all three Apostle King/Queens.
