Cryptid Corner

History:

A small square in Yitreal that seems to be dedicated to the study of cryptids. Cryptids are defined by the Great Northern Library as creatures many believe to exist somewhere in the wild, but are not supported by evidence (or the evidence is circumstantial at best. While many of these creatures are statistically plausible many think they are unlikely.
Mostly a tourist trap, the residents of Yitreal abhor when fervor gets whipped up over some new mythological creature. The town's population booms in the summer when they hunt for these cryptids. This does bring a boom to the industries tied to "hunting and capturing" so citizens tolerate the ridiculous nature of the tourists.

Considered one of the most dangerous cryptids, Sisavah is a bulky bearish figure with sharp claws, antlers that double as projectiles, and bright yellow glowing eyes known to entrance its prey. He blends in seamlessly with his surroundings, making him the perfect predator in the forest and tundra.
Enigmatic Explained, offers books attempting to explain the possible biology of many of cryptids.
Occult Obscura deals in magical items for dealing with specific entities. From devils to fiends, to hags, Occult Obscura has a weapon to kill it.
Uncanny Protections provides armor and shields for combat against foes, known, and unknowns.
