Katyr Orixina made her presence felt during the most recent boycott of the Bank of Espen's Ossirion location. Citing the garish and offensive architectural style which clashes with the overall natural aesthetic of the town. As one of the more wealthy families in Ossirion, the Orixina's have their hands in nearly all developments of note around town. However, even the richest Elves didn't hold a candle to the combined resources of the Goblins and Humans who had a tendency to take a leap before you look approach to investing in new properties. The construction of the Bank happened in record time which only served to add to the growing frustrations from the surrounding areas.
As a result, the Ossirion branch of the bank of Espen has been underperforming for years despite great management from Sirio Doxus, one of the more friendly goblins in the bank's employ. A series of community outreach initiatives have taken place, all with mediocre amounts of success.

Another great family, the Pertris' have put 104,000 GP in trust earmarked for a redesign of the Bank of Espen - Ossirion. Thought their plan isn't as altruistic as it appears prima facia. The 104,000 GP redesign comes with a significant catch, a demand that a High Elf is placed as manager of the Bank in perpetuity. Rumor has it that they even offered an additional 50,000 if the Elf named manager of the bank was from their family. It is unclear if the Bank of Espen has accepted the cost for the rebuild as the Humans and Goblins have long sought to keep the secrets of the Bank's inner workings a closely held secret within their respective races.
