Arctic Pine Sap

Medical Findings

Used as a medical-grade adhesive, this sap can form a semi-permanent adhesive bond between any two objects. It can also prevent blood loss when used as a clotting agent sealing wounds like a second skin. However, repeated use of the sap in this manner can lead to long-term scarring in the area.   Adventurers also use it to provide extra grip on weapons and valuable items. The sap serves as a useful trap, as a means of binding one's enemy in place temporarily. Though its bonds can be broken it takes great effort and damage is usually suffered if the bonds are not weakened by soaking the affected area in oil for an hour.   It also has application in thermal insulation, though its potential in that area remains largely untapped.

Herbalism

Harvesting Artic Pine Sap is notoriously difficult as it can only be harvested from white pine trees north of Mithrigral during a few months in the winter.  When used as a reagent can turn liquids into a gel-like substance. When activated with other agents the resultant gel snap freezes dropping the temprature of the gel and surrounding area but well below -452 F, instantly cooling anything around it, touching the gel has been known to cost individuals their fingers and in some cases their life.
