A Bookie's Bookie is, as one would imagine are the oddsmakers and gambling house. Most of the bookies that run odds anywhere in Espen trained here to master their craft. They are also known as rather deft loan sharks, and are willing to extend a line of credit to nearly anyone. This is due to the contract individuals sign in order to receive their credit. The contracts are said to be signed with blood magic that allows A Bookie's Bookie to track the signee to any city within Espen.
The shop itself is a small 3 room shop that relies on its own security as opposed to the local security contractors Blackguard Orc Security Company (BOSC).  Paid from the winnings taken in by the house, the contractors have thousands of reasons to be passionately loyal to their employer.  As such, A Bookie's Bookie has 24/7 armed guards who work in randomized shifts to prevent any potential ideas of robbery.

Ownership

Baldwin Thorsgood, a dwarf who studied maths at the Great Northern University & Library has mastered odds and probability to an almost supernatural level. While he never overtly claims to be able to see the future, he loses bets so rarely that he rarely gambles, lets the odds be offset.
The winnings registry is required to be maintained under the order of the Apostle Queen, and shows a nearly 8 year 159 bet winning streak by Baldwin, only upended by a freak accident during a chariot race.
