3 Snake Oil

Medical Findings

Long passed off as a curative, 3 snake oil has a moderate numbing effect on humanoids but is a highly volatile compound in the incorrect setting, and under no circumstances should it be ingested by itself.  Doing so will lead to violent abdominal distress and a thick oily discharge from the ears for multiple days. However, that does not mean it is not without its uses in medical applications.  Physicians and healers use it to coat needles and thread used for sutures and to aid in the healing process of amputations.

Herbalism

3 Snake oil can be produced by frying 1 small venomous snake, 1 eel or snail, and a handful of Dragon's Tail Grass (common) in oil.  Once strained it will produce a highly viscous, bitter, brown liquid. In high volumes (3 doses or more) it can induce paralysis in beasts and humanoids alike. Also has applications as a component in various exotic potions.
