DamesPort Fine Silks

History

Badderweir Spiders are common to wet marshlands, much like the ones that surround DamesPort.  Though the spiders had historically posed a threat to the city due to their size and ravenous behavior, as DamesPort grew the women of the town learned how not only to defend the settlement against the always present threat but even mastered the domestication and husbandry of the creatures.
The silk from these spiders remains in high demand today as it creates lighter garments with stronger properties.  Though this fine material is sought after by adventurers, designers and those more fashion focused also apprecite its qualities.  Thought its inclusion in the Haute and Bespoke Fashion and Baking Show - HaBFab is not a certainty, the staple fabric is becoming more sought after by weavers and clothiers.

Ownership

Keri Tulle, the owner of DamesPort Fine Silks is a self trained clothier who found the loud city streets of Spritzlewerks daunting, as such, she moved herself and her craft to a quieter option.  Always one for adventure, Keri mastered the domestication of the Badderweir Spiders and quickly turned the once formidable opponents of prosperity into the avenue of her success.
