The Kingdom of Taras

• The kingdom of Taras stretches from the Heavenly Mountains in the north to the Great Southern Ocean in the south, and from the Shield Mountains in the West to the Sun Crowns in the East.
  
• The central region is dominated by a series of plateaus that drop off as you head south, separating the eastern and western regions. The central highlands make up the heartlands of the kingdom, and where the capital city of Andaros is. South of these highlands towards the Ocean the Golden Wood covers the land, before giving way near the Emerald Cave
  
• Two large rivers run north-south, one to the east and one to the west of the central highlands. In the west, the Darktide River falls from the heavenly mountains, carving out the Deeping Vale before slowing and widening as it reaches the fertile river plain in the south before emptying into the Southern Ocean. In the east, the River Regnum begins in the Heavenly Mountains as well, but far to the north beyond the borders. It runs through the Sand Sea before cutting through the Horn Hills. From there it continues south before it empties into Shimmering Sea.
  
• The northwest region is the Deeping Vale, a large valley carved out in the highlands where valuable minerals are mined, and some of the fiercest warriors live
  
• The southwest is the vast river plain near Tar Qala, where huge farmlands produce the majority of the kingdoms food. The forests surrounding the plains are home to all kinds of mystical creatures
  
• The northeast are the Horn Hills, an arid hill land that eventually meets the great sand sea. The fortresses known as the gates of jade guard this passage, and the largest most experienced army of the kingdom is stationed here
  
• The southeast is the coastlands and forests near the Shimmering Sea. Trade and seafare dictate the lives of the people here, and many schools of sorcery can be found
