• Beyond the northeastern frontier of the kingdom, past the Jade Gates lies the Great Sand Sea. An endless expanse of rolling, shifting sand dunes, home to savage nomads and horrifying, deadly monsters. The dunes shift so frequently that one can easily get lost venturing far into the desert. However if one hugs the western edge of the Sand Sea near the mountains and heads north, one can eventually reach the Far Oasis and the exotic Spice Cities. Little is known about these people and their customs and history, but the vast wealth and merchant can make in trading with them, leads many to try their luck despite the dangers of the desert, which often leads to them never being seen again
