Dwarven Lands

Dwarven Lands

  • Unlike the other mortal races, those who became the Dwarves split early in their history, with one clan heading east and becoming The Redstone Dwarves, and another heading southwest to become the Stonespire Dwarves

  • Redstone- named for the red sandy stone and arid landscape in the valley they built their city, the Redstone dwarves found this land perfect for digging the great tunnels, halls and mines underground that would come to form The Under Hold. From here they control the great central pass through the Sun Crowns. There are few outsiders who have seen the full magnificence of their sprawling underground mansions but those who have seen even a part describe it as one of the most impossible to capture cities in the land. And it needs to be, for if the Redstone dwarves are lesser craftsmen than their western cousins, they are fiercer warriors, due to their constant battles and skirmishes with the dragons, monsters and evil forces of the wilds beyond the mountains

  • Stonespire- named for the massive solitary peak in which they’ve made their home, the Stonespire dwarves are craftsmen and architects of no compare. The Stonespire itself is a vast complex of interior halls and great towers and homes that cling to the sides of the mountain. The highly valued trinkets and artifacts and jewelry crafted here fetch huge prices in the markets of the kingdom
