Description

Moroi who carry messages over long distances are known as runners. They travel on foot, as their natural speed makes them faster and more enduring than any horse. In addition, they are not greatly affected by difficult terrain. On long journeys, there are changeover points where a rested runner takes over the message and runs on.

Task

The runners are used for important or urgent messages. They not only take the message to its destination as quickly as possible, but also protect it. For very important messages, the runners travel in small groups to provide even better protection.
