Origin

This book was written during the Vampire War and contains descriptions of various magical experiments. There is only one book and it was forbidden to make notes in any other book.

Significance

No human or magician knows of the book's existence. It was kept secret during the war and after the war the Moroi took it away. The current Moroi king keeps it under lock and key in his library and only a few other Moroi, who were created during the war, know about the book.
The book is to remain secret forever, as it contains the Moroi's greatest secret. The secret of the creation of the Moroi.
