All the elves of Erthos, having been the only mortal creatures born during the Age of Spirits, stayed in Erthos as the new age began. Yet, they were missing memories of the era before. They could remember how to work basic magic, hunt, how to build homes, and family members. They could not remember their society, advanced magic, or even the history of the period before. The knowledge of Spirits had vanished from their minds except for the Chara Spirits who they turned to for worship. Some elves scorned this; believing that the Chara Spirits were responsible.
