Shield of Acid

A magical shield that was discovered by the dwarves while digging their mines in Dwarfhome. They do not know where it came from but having been found in a cavern scorched by acid, they knew they should keep it.

While holding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.
While attuned to the shield you have resistance to acid damage. When you are hit with an attack, as a reaction, you can cause the shield to spew a 15-foot cone of acid out in one direction. All creatures in that cone must make a dexterity saving throw DC 15 or take 3d6 acid damage on a failure. On a success they take half damage.
A shield is made from wood or metal and is carried in one hand. Wielding a shield increases your Armor Class by 2. You can benefit from only one shield at a time.

A Kite shield of red and green that appears to look like the feathers of some strange creature. Globs of acid form on its face and drip off slowly.
