The Ring of Dual Minds was created by a wizard who wanted to separate the two halves of his mind in order to concentrate on two spells at once. When attuned to the ring a spellcaster can be concentrating on two spells at once. When the caster takes damage they can make two separate Concentration checks to maintain both spells.
