Half-Spirit

It is abnormal for a child to be born of the union of a Spirit and a Mortal. These children are mortal; living the typical lifespan of their mortal parents' race, but can manipulate their Essence much like Spirits can. Their appearance does vary from child to child; sometimes they look like their Spirit parent or their mortal parents. They can also have characteristics that are all their own.
