A dark shadowy creature of the dark. Averaging three times taller than humans, they remain painfully thin with an intense hunger for flesh that they tear with sharp claws for hands. Their eyes shine in the dark as their bodies scurry from shadow to shadow. They wonder endlessly in dark cold dead forests or in the bitter winter for prey. Coming from the ancient past, they could still turn greedy humans into one of them. The unsatisfied greed becomes their hunger that could never be satisfied.
It takes a skilled adventurer to kill one as they are difficult to survive against. Blades pass through the shadowed body. Fire becomes cold to them and they could harm their victim's by their prey's own shadow.
