Twilight Lands

Visitors to the Twilight Lands describe realms which on first glance resemble the kind of environments one might find in the Material Plane, but on further inspection, are drastically different. For one example, while walking through a fairy wood, one might try to pluck an apple from a tree branch, only for the tree to courteously lean over and hand you the apple themselves. A person could be washing themselves in a stream, only for the stream to slap them in the face for being so crude. Unusually friendly stoats might curl up in your lap for a snooze, and then ask for your thoughts on the theory of cognitive bias in a thick North Errusian accent. Why the fey realms take such strange forms is a mystery, though there are some that wonder whether the realms themselves are sentient entities of some kind that existed in a state of formlessness until they first witnessed the shapes of the Material Plane, shaping themselves into a twisted reflection.
Any attempt to categorise or name all the fey realms will end in disappointment. It has never been discovered just how many locations or worlds exist within the Twilight Lands, though provided an explorer sticks close to a Breach, they can expect some degree of familiarity.
