From the document, "An account of the Ambush at Sun's Fall," dictated by Hunter Usken, Ire's Faithful, and transcribed by Keeper Addat, Baset'khat of Hedjmet in the Spring of the 2nd year of the War against the Watchers- the Black Sun is described as "the most militant...of their foul pantheon." His lair was a fortress in the eastern deserts, where his mortal cultists trained and his lamashtu and shadows were crafted. He was referred to as Black General by his own.
It seems by this account, Brume is credited to be the key to the Black Sun's downfall, although it was Ire's decision to strike- and it seems that the Ambush at Sun's Fall was perhaps the defining moment as the beginning of the War Against The Watchers.
In the document "Praise to the Ascendant," Ire is described as "the First Queen, who yoked the wildfires," and Brume "the Formless Shadow, who caged the Sunless Hordes."
It seems likely to me, Zimmi, that Ire was the leader of the uprising against the Watchers, and Brume was responsible for taking down the Black Sun, who was the first of the Watchers to fall. If anyone else thinks one or both of these details are wrong, then please feel free to say so! This is a learning process and all information is valuable.
