Fomorian

Fomorians are small insectoid creatures that crawl around the Forbodenwoad and The Eternalwoad looking for hosts. Once these creatures burrow into the skull of a victim, usually through the ear or eye, the unfortunate host quickly goes insane. The fomorian has settled in their skull, and the victims mind is replaced with rabid feral bloodlust. The body too suffers under the fomorians control, becoming enlarged to triple its original size. Boils and tendrils protrude from skin and bones. All manner of cratures are subject to this horrific transformation, from rabbits to hardend warriors.
