Dredkar

Driven mad by their addiction to corrupted blood magic, these barbaric marauders search for prey from which to literally steal their strength and body parts.

Corrupted vicious cannibals who believed that the ultimate root to knowledge was from eating the brains of live targets, they were taught corrupted blood magic by the Janja that allowed them to swap out their failing bodies for the body parts of others. Now they collect body parts from any living thing they deem useful, stealing the victims strength and addiing it to their own. The Dredkar have arcane scars all over their body, believed to be tied to their ability to steal the body parts of others.
They have been a scourge on Terra Nova since before the arrival of the Iuste Therians, whom they hunted mercilessly. They had the majority of their settlements in the Carrion Swamp, up until a joint military attack from the citizens of Port Harmony and Iuste was sent in an attempt to oust them from the region. Since the defeat of their leaders by the citizens of Port Harmony, as well as the defeat of the Janja, and being driven from their blighted ritual sites by the Iuste, they have scattered from their long held territory. Dred'kar found after their leaders defeat seem to be sick with the fleeting magic that once held them together.
