Air Runners Boots
These soft and supple boots are made from leather derived from the hide of a flying creature. Hippogriffs are most often used, though any flying creature will do. The boots are often highly decorated with images of flight and always have holes drilled through the soles.
The boots hold 10 charges and regain 1d8 charges every dawn. While wearing them, you can activate them to give yourself a flying speed equal to your walking speed. This ability only lasts until the end of your turn, so be careful where you end.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
When the boots are activated they push air through the holes in the sole allowing the wearer to seemingly run through the air.
History
These boots were originally developed by a halfling clan that was trading in and around the Singing Mountains. They needed a tool to make it easier to move through the broken and difficult terrain.
