Structure
The Chukrani nation is run by the Temple, the theological organization that has moulded its formation since before known history. The Grand Priest is the head of the Temple, and legends say he's immortal - forever reigning from behind his golden mask - but conspiratorial whispers would have you believe he's either their god himself or someone new every 10 years, hiding behind the authority the mask grants.
Beneath the Grand Priest, Cardinals are the first step down the ladder, one each presiding over the various regions of the nation. The Cardinals then choose Bishops to represent their interests and run specific temples, and the Bishops choose and manage the Priests that actually tend to the people and run most ceremonies and worships.
Culture
Chukrani are almost feverishly devoted to their god - it permeates almost every aspect of their life. Holy symbols are incorporated into every piece of architecture - from grand temples to the brickwork in the roads; pieces of scripture are embroidered into the seams and collars of clothes; you're unlikely to find a single citizen who hasn't taken part in worship at least once sometime in the last week - even if it means a priest must come to them to perform a more personal ritual.
