Whitethorn Hospital is the major Industry of Whiteholm, named after its founder, Lio Whitethorn, the Hospital aims to provide access to modern practical medicine to the masses of commoners around Eris.

Due to the dangers presented by travelling the world, many practicioners are trained by the Hospital in combat, namely the Surgeons, who are trained to fight with "surgical precision".
