The island of Ancalys is invaded, and the League of Darkness reveals its existence to the world.

The Night of the Dark Flames was the most terrible battle ever waged in the history of Eridania, and the Elder Council sees it as its greatest fault with the people of the planet.   On that fateful day, Lady Dark revealed her sinister League of Darkness to all the peoples of Eridania, and invaded the island of Ancalys, taking it for herself. There would begin the reign of terror of this sinister organization, which would forever stain the history of Eridania.
