Simulacrum

(p. Simulacra) A representative figurine that is bound to a being with magical Gifts allowing the caster to imprison them within a pocket dimension; the simulacrum acts as a conduit that allows the being's magic to be tapped by the caster. The binding spell requires a Blood Magic ritual to take hold; after activation, the binding is sustained by the bound beings' own Gift.
The binding can be broken by destroying the simulacrum; additionally, it will break on it's own if the bound being dies.


Later, after the Release, there is a town uses the premise of the pocket dimension to take buildings and people out of time. They live outside of time for most of the year. Children and pregnant women are not allowed to travel, they live in a small community not far from the site.  It lasts for one year, at which time the "immortals" are back for a few days. They sell it as immortality, and those that don't go spread the tale. In this way, when they return there are usually many people ready to join them.  Those who wish to join the immortal community bring prepared food for the feast as well as all of their wordly possessions- which are turned over to the members who stay here. It is with this income that the support community lives in the interum.  Candidates are asked privately if they would be willing to kill for immoratality- those who say no are told that they will have to leave the party early, those who are willing to kill are allowed to stay at the party. However the party is an offering for the blood magic needed to work and sustain the binding.  Ironically, those who were unwililng to kill for immoratality acheive it through the deaths of the others. Although, to be fair, they don't know it.  
Outside of time, there is no time. There is no need to worry about bodily functions, and each person percieves their stay individually, although they occupy the same space. However, this concept is very hard to describe as a person whose life is defined by linear time, so maybe it would be better to think of it as groundhog day without any need to eat/waste/etc.
