Festival of Stories, Spring's Waxing Gibbous Moons broken

Spring's two waning crescent moons signal that is time to bid farewell to Spring and celebrate the beginning of Summer. It takes place during Fruit Moon (6/9). The god Bernice is associated with this holiday.   Communities celebrate together by acting out favorite tales and myths. In days of yore the same story was always acted out- celebrating Bernice giving the gift of the written word to the people, but it has since evolved to encompass all manner of tales. The stories are usually selected during the Flower Feast, Spring's Half Moons and practiced over the intervening month. More affluent communities may hire troupes of players for the event.
