Baku

Baku, also called Dream Eaters, are small, four legged animals, found in the forests and fields of Pelee. Their legs are short, almost stubby, with a tufted tail, round ears, and a short trunk. Their appearance and behavior vary widely based on disposition, as the Baku hunger for what they don't have.   Happy and contented Baku: Pale pink to lavender skin that is soft and warm to the touch; they will have two small nubs of tusks on each side of the mouth. Calm and placid, although quick on their feet when a meal is served. Baku are wonderful companions that will remove any sad or frightening dreams.   Malcontent Baku: Dark red to purple black skin that is hard and dry; hot to the touch. They will grow two long, sharp tusks. They are aggressive and will charge, bite, and attempt to gore. These Baku will absorb all of your happy dreams and leave your nights filled with nothing but sorrow and frights.
