The Ten - Major Dragonborn Religion

In dragonborn culture, their entire livelihoods are born from the worship of the Ten. Ten ancient dragon lords, long having departed this world. Each of the ten had different coloured scales, five were chromatic; red, green, blue, black, and white. Five were metallic; gold, silver, bronze, copper, and brass. There are also rumours of platinum dragons but there have been no confirmed sightings of such a creature.   The colours of dragonborn represented not only who of the ten they predominantly worshiped, but also their place in society. The chromatic dragonborn would usually take on labourer positions whilst metallic would take on more studious roles. Dragons by most races are considered greedy, selfish, and narcissistic creatures that have long been banished from the world. Dragonborns do not see them as such but rather strong, brave, independent, self-assured, and powerful. It is of believe by many dragonborn that upon death, if you had lived your life in service to the Ten, then you could potentially be reborn as a dragon, a dream all dragonborn aspire for.   The Ten Dragon Lords are as follows; Vedeir (Red), Balogh (Blue), Aeryz (Green), Ulfryz (Black), Morvar (White), Eingana (Silver), Aedigarr (Gold), Felscylla (Bronze), Baloryx (Copper), and Nazalath (Brass).   Ten Glass Pyramids stand tall in the center of Nemmeris, capital of Ardac and are built in honour of the Ten, massive statues of stone and metal surround the immense structures, each Lord represented by a separate statue, carved by hand by the dragonborn of their colour. The pyramids themselves are sacred grounds and only the Matriarchs and the High Priestess' are allowed to set foot within their fabled walls. Many speculate whether the Ten are buried within them, and that the High Priestess' are trying to revive them, but there is currently no proof of such a plan.
