Erun, the One - Major Human Religion (Air-rune)

Many humans have a monotheistic belief that a single entity created Ereth and the worlds beyond. Erun, or the One, came before, from a part of space untouched and unknown to all. He created the sky, the stars, the sun. He brought light, and created the four primary elements that make up the world.

Erun is depicted as an elderly man, but standing tall and proud, a golden aura silhouettes the powerful figure. A long white beard hangs low past his knees.

The Chant of Life and the Chant of Death are sung everyday at sunrise and sunset at every Temple of the One. The chants represent the renewal of the land and its inhabitants. Without this chant, Erun's power fades and so it is believed that should the chant not be performed, then the sun would cease to rise and Ereth would be plunged into eternal darkness.

This is predominantly the belief's of the humans of Odradel with the Sarjans and Wilder Folk having separate beliefs.
