Ep 85 Skeleton City

General Summary

Returning to the evening after Yaikzal’s first run in with the three spellcasters. The party returned to her pacing the camp. They managed to learn of the events of the evening before moving on to the final leg of their journey. The end of which was a small half feral town of leonid and Tabaxi hunting and gathering at the edge of the mountains they worship. Yaikzal went in to meet the old bird soothsayer who acts as their spiritual leader. He agreed to let them work nearby after showing them the towns history by moonlight as long as they agreed to respect their god mountains and customs. That evening they followed those three spellcasters back to the religious site to see them also being given the history by the soothsayer. There was a brief stand off before they vanished. The next day saw the party flung into Epelon’s city Echo. The enchanted city seems to be the second mountain titled on its axis and fallen to the earth below. The city has traded spells with some of them in order for them to be able to cast spells within its barriers. The second block saw one Champion killed, and a meeting between the party and an automaton that warned them against the creatures and magic within the city. In the third they found a stone creature in a broken glass tube that encased the inner wall, a magic shop locked up tight, and a stone altar fashioned like a book that barely recognized Berrian as a Grand Magus. We ended with him inscribing an eighth level spell into it in exchange for one of Epelon’s spells.
