Ep 8 The Mantis Stalking the Cicada

General Summary

We began in the midst of the Quarry having just slain a blue Slaad. They pushed on finding themselves up against another blue slaad, a grey slaad and an adolescent green slaad. The party fought a retreating battle eventually deciding to go in for the kill when the tide turned in their favor. After a near miss and a rest they found a stone tablet denoting the presence of the Mantis a figure shrouded in mystery and death. Deciding to play it safe they returned to Clouds to report their results and collect their payment. They spent the rest of the evening wandering the casino, meeting a bonafide pirate, and visiting the martial path with Blackfeather. We ended with everyone finding their scattered and for some drunken rest.
