Ep 78 A Longer Road Than Expected

General Summary

We began with the party heading out to Kar at Bertrand’s request Taking full use of teleport to make their way through the mountain range. The mountains however proved vaster than they anticipated as they took a riskier teleport to shorten their journey finding themselves on a mountain separated from the mountain range close to the area they need to search. Just before they where going to vanish again Lorelei picked up the sound of combat. Prompting Berrian to teleport them above group of adventurers fleeing pursuing Azer and their hell hounds from the underdark. Stepping to their rescue they slew the flaming dwarves and greeted the adventurers they protected. The conversation though friendly had an undertone of discomfort from the group due to the power of the party and the pressing of some of their members including the magic item whose presence they were attempting to hide. After Lorelei pushed into their wizards mind the adventurers beat a hasty retreat. Yaikzal lead Drae and Kea’Na hunting tracking and pouncing on a mountain lion her feral nature and the telepathic link of the spell cast on them letting her notice something notice her before the connection ended.
